London Olympics 2012

Kettyle Irish Foods was proud to supply superior meat products to the London 2012 Olympics and Paralympic Games.

The company supplied a range of meat products to Sodexo, caterers at the Olympic Village and across the main venues in London.

Kettyle Irish Foods supplied it's signature dry-aged beef, Lough Erne lamb and Fermanagh free-range chicken for the a la carte menu and the prestigious canapé reception for the 10,000 VIPs at the opening ceremony and at the closing event.

Maurice Kettyle, managing director, said at the time "This is a very exiciting time for us. We are already full steam ahead and are already looking forward to what will be a fantastic, once-in-a-lifetime event and an excellent opportunity for us all at Kettyle Irish Foods to showcase our capabilities within the meat industry.

The event also helped to raise the profile of the company as one of Europe's only purpose-built dry-ageing factories.

Kettyle Irish Foods also supplied beef to the British Open Golf Championships at Lytham and St.Anne's.
